Furniture hire for weddings can be daunting, especially if you are planning a wedding for the first time. It’s hard to know where to begin with sourcing the perfect furniture and décor for your big day. You may feel a little overwhelmed with trying to decipher what items you actually need, how they will work within the space and when you need to be making bookings. 

BRAND LAUNCH: Round Square Marketing

We were thrilled to be invited to design and style the Round Square Marketing brand launch event at Fitzy's in Toowoomba. Highlighting some incredible local talent, we took inspiration from the business' new brand - a sleek, more contemporary take on their original design. 

As Round Square evolved, they identified the need to better represent their services in the marketplace which after 4 years in operation had changed immensely. 

The brand was modernised - delivering a dynamic, corporate and creative feel. 

We built on the brands colour palette of moody purple, pungent green and a fierce fuchsia. Combining modern elements with slim lines, cut acrylic finishes, metallic gold accents and an abundance of luxurious florals.  

Guests enjoyed a fun-inspired taco station, signature cocktail with branded swizzle stick and a lavish dessert station featuring customised macaroons.

Dîner en Blanc is coming to Toowoomba!

Toowoomba will host the internationally-recognised event – Le Dîner en Blanc - later this year. The popular ‘all white-themed’ Parisian-style pop up picnic marks its 30th anniversary this year and will be held for the first time in the Garden City.

Le Dîner en Blanc - Toowoomba hosts Annie Glover (Blue Willow), Lauren Hope (Round Square Marketing) and Karen McKinley (The Punch Group) decided it would be exciting to bring a world-class event to the region and help boost tourism.

“It was a fairly rigorous process to secure the event for the region, but we think it’s a fantastic coup to bring the world phenomenon to Toowoomba,” says Le Diner en Blanc Toowoomba co-host Ms Lauren Hope.

Le Diner en Blanc Toowoomba co-host Annie Glover says Toowoomba’s strong sense of community is closely aligned with Le Dîner en Blanc philosophy.

“Le Dîner en Blanc captures the spirit of friendship, glamour, and European elegance.  We love the history and anticipation of Le Dîner en Blanc events around the world and are excited to bring a little piece of Europe to Toowoomba, which will be the 10th Australian city to join the Le Diner en Blanc family,” she says.

“We are passionate about Toowoomba, what it has to offer and look forward to showcasing our beautiful city on the world stage,” says Ms Glover.

Today, more than 120,000 guests in close to 80 cities in 30 countries celebrates the event.

“While elegance and etiquette are important components of the event, there are no VIPS and everyone will come together as equals to share a common goal – to have fun and enjoy friendships old and new,” explains Le Diner en Blanc Toowoomba co-host Ms McKinley.

To uphold Le Dîner en Blanc’s tradition, guests around the world must dress head-to-toe in white and are requested to bring their own portable tables, white chairs, white table linens, tableware, and a gourmet meal.  A large part of the excitement surrounding Le Dîner en Blanc is the secrecy surrounding the event location, which is kept under wraps until the last moment. Guests are given a departure point when they purchase their tickets.

Cue the concrete flooring, metal sheet walls and exposed timber pillars. We wanted to bring you something fresh and moody with a touch of luxe.

This space truly is an impressive, sizeable blank canvas and we are thrilled to partner with them as their preferred stylist in 2018!

NEW LOOK: A fresh new look for Blue Willow

As we say goodbye to another fabulous year we welcome 2018 with a fresh new look here at Blue Willow.

With the New Year we are so excited to unveil to you all our branding overhaul. Encompassing a logo and business name refresh, as well as a website and social media overhaul. 

As we venture into some new areas with our business we felt removing ‘weddings’ from the name was needed - now simply ‘Blue Willow’. 

The ethos behind our new approach to the market is for a number of reasons, namely our diversification of services launching in 2018. Including working more in the corporate event styling sector with various fundraisers, launches, openings and public events coming up this year.

As well as launching our brand new hire range in the first half of the year (stay tuned for more on this one!) we needed to ensure our branding encapsulated our holistic approach to event styling.
