LOVE LETTERS: What others have to say

We really do feel like the luckiest team in the world - the couples we've met, the families we've gotten to know, the moments we've laughed together and the moments we've cried together - there are so many memories made.

We wanted to share with you what our Bride's remember most about us as well...

"When I started to plan our wedding day one of my biggest worries was how do we make sure the day runs smoothly? That’s when I found Blue Willow online.
From our first meeting, you were able to direct me towards suppliers and give me amazing planning tips. Being able to relax and enjoy every moment on my wedding day was priceless. Annie did an amazing job with our styling and set up on the day and the flowers were stunning.
I have already recommended Annie to friends and will continue without hesitation."

REAL WEDDING: Caprice & Blake, Private Property, Miles QLD

Caprice and Blake were married on Caprice's family property - Iola. The same location where Blake had proposed less then a year earlier under the stars, by the creek.

At the end of the properties driveway would sit a clear marquee for the couples wedding celebrations, adjoining Iola's character shed spotlighting its weathered exterior and textured timber pillars.

The couple opted for a navy, white, pink and gold palette, working beautifully against the natural surroundings and gloss white finishes of the events furnishings. A feature navy bar and hanging lighting installations brought to life by the groom himself set the scene well into the evening and created a picturesque view for guests to dance the night away.

Bright pink blooms worked perfectly with the abundance of textured native greenery. While metallic gold touches popped against deep navy hues.

Caprice and Blake's wedding was the first of many private property nuptials to kick of 2017 for us. We avoided the rain all day, until the sunshine and humidity of Miles in March was briefly relieved by a shower. It certainly didn't dampen the spirits of the couples guests though!

Thanks again to Mr & Mrs Althaus for inviting our team to your families property and allowing us to help bring your special day to life x

"Where do I start? I contacted Annie with what I thought was a clear styling vision for our wedding day. However, the more we chatted the more I realised my styling prowess wasn't overly refined.
Not to worry though because Annie took the vague brief that I gave her and turned it into something better than I could have ever imagined! She helped with everything from hiring and styling, to helping choose stationery and timber stain colours, to general wedding day advice.
She also answered my million (no exaggeration) emails quickly, efficiently and without complaint (what a champ!). I cannot express enough how perfect and stress free everything was on and before our wedding day, and I have no doubt that this is because of Annie and her incredible team. So many of our guests, including a retired wedding planner, stated that the attention to detail was second to none!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Blue Willow Weddings for making our wedding day extraordinary!"

REAL WEDDING: Sophie & Jay, Adora Downs

Our team were excited to be working at the charming Adora Downs for the very first time for Sophie & Jay’s big day. We had heard so much about the venue and how relaxed guests felt among the surroundings. Not only was it the perfect choice for our couples Summer time nuptials but also a true reflection of the couple themselves – a winning choice from the get go!

Sophie was such a sweet-hearted Bride, who the details didn’t really matter to too much, as long as it all led to her fiancé Jay becoming her husband. This of course would be the case on the 45 degree plus day in December, while we worked to pull together all the intricacies behind the scenes for the special couple.

The fascinating timber lined barn lent itself perfectly to the rich tones of red and gold, paired back with mentions of blush throughout. Taper candles delivered an antique touch, while bountiful florals softened the raw surroundings.

The Bride wore a beautifully textured lace gown with a beautiful flower crown from Echo & Indigo. While our unstructured bouquets worked effortlessly against the gorgeous pattern of the Bridesmaids gowns.

The newlyweds delivered one hell of a party, finished ever so deliciously with a four-tier cheese wheel cake before guests retired to their eclectic cabins on site in the wee-hours of the morning.

A huge thank you again to Mr & Mrs Driese for having us – what a blast it was! A x
