Hi, I'm Annie Glover, the owner and Creative Director at Blue Willow.
The name Blue Willow was inspired by the ancient blue willow fine china that sat on my Mother's hutch in our dining room growing up. It was an easy choice when deciding on what design elements inspired me - timeless and detailed.
I have always loved beautiful homewares, design and being creative. For as long as I can remember I have been crafting and styling details that evoke emotion. My passion for event planning and styling came to the surface in 2014. Our work would soon feature in a number of online and print productions, so I decided to branch out from the event management field I had worked in in the marketing world thus far and create an event styling business local to Toowoomba.
I love everything about weddings, from the heart warming messages shared the morning of the big day, to seeing the couples reaction when they first lay eyes on their reception space. There really is nothing more heartwarming or memorable then a couple's special day designed as a true reflection of them both.
As well as a love for weddings, my understanding of the corporate market in Queensland is vast after working in the marketing and public relations sector prior to starting Blue Willow. I understand the importance of brand positioning first-hand and the way in which reflective styling can ensure our clients retain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
I originally reside from Moree, in country northern New South Wales and am married to my best friend Tom. We share our home with our gorgeous son Harry and our cheeky cavaliers Milo & Pippi.
